Started checking NASA's All Sky Fireball Network on Jan 20, 2017. It has detected 42,268 fireballs since that day. Most fireballs on one night? (559 - on 12/14/17) - the nightly median is 8. In the past 30 days there have been 232 fireballs detected. | current moon![]() | ||

| Current numbers to ponder: 17,605 Near Earth Objects are currently being tracked. 111 of those are Comets. 17,494 are Asteroids (and one Tesla Roadster). 7,917 of these Near Earth Asteroids are 140 meters or larger. 844 are larger than 1 kilometer. Of the Near Earth Asteroids: 1,826 are considered Potentially Hazardous Asteroids. | ||
